Tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?

My Photography Journey
In college, I took every class under the sun, including a Photo 1 course. It ended with a final assignment: blend photography and story. I paired images with poetry—and something clicked.
After graduating with a degree in creative writing, I wandered—from designing newspapers in Boone, to guiding hiking trips in Vermont, to social work in the Utah desert. Until one day, as if someone hit rewind and fast-forward all at once, I found myself applying to a photography studio that, like me, believed photography was meant to tell a story.
Since then, I’ve learned that writing teaches us to feel stories, while photography allows us to return to them, frame by frame.
